Change...

So fall is officially coming.
The leaves are changing...
The weather is changing...

And by God's grace, my heart is changing.
Here's a recent excerpt from "You Can Change"...a great read by Tim Chester.

The gospel is so foolish (according to my natural wisdom), so scandalous (according to my conscience), and so incredible (according to my timid heart), that it is a daily battle to believe the full scope of it as I should.  There is simply no other way to compete with the forebodings of my conscience, the condemning of my heart, and the lies of the world and the Devil than to overwhelm such things with the daily rehearsings of the gospel.
Blessings in this season of change...

Hi McPherson Family!

I'm Camille Eldridge - mother to Victoria Collins. Neither of those names may mean anything to you - but my husband and I have attended several seminars with Greg and Candy and V attended Rock Solid several times.

Any way - I came to your blog through GCC blog. I saw on the side that you are reading about Classical Education. I would highly, highly recommend you look into the Principle Approach if you are leaning towards home schooling. I am now a 'veteran' home school Mom - though I still can't believe that! - and the more I learn about PA, the more I wish I had begun that way. It is not a curriculum, but a philosophy, if you will, of educating. I think you will be very encouraged by it. It is similar to Classical Conversations (from what I have heard) - but everything is built upon the Word - and God's unfolding plan.

Many blessings to you!
Camille Eldridge

(PS - No need to post this as a comment - just didn't know how to get in touch with you otherwise!)

Sharon-Thankyou so much for your encouragement in my hard season right now. I am holding onto the Lord and shakily at times keeping my two feet on the path he has set before me. Please continue to lift us up. Blessings look forward to talking with you soon.
